Hey bro.

Chill! Take a long breath and answer some questions.

  • What is life?
  • What do you think is life?
  • If everything is going good and just according to you, life is fair to you. No?

It is just your speculation and it is not fair to judge anything so fast. Why do you think that life is unfair to you and you should stop living?

Brother, life is not here to be fair or unfair to anybody. These are just situations which make you think like that. Situations make life fair or unfair to people.

Let me tell you a story.

Raju was my college friend. I was an IT student, his branch was Computer Science. We were a group of 9 friends, out of the 3 didn’t get a placement at the end of our graduation.

But you know what, Raju was the first person from his village who became Engineer. He took education loan and then “No Placement”. He was studious, he had good grades but one thing didn’t satisfy the criteria was the gap in education.

You can say that life was pretty much unfair to him, people with low grades grabbed job. He had no courage to go back to his village, but unemployed people are left with limited options.

It was one year of torture, loan interest was increasing exponentially. People around him started taunting. There were days when he thought about giving up on his life because life was unfair.

Story Over? No.

You can say that there is no point in living if your life is unfair. But the story is not over yet my friend.

After one year of struggle, he grabbed a job of a school teacher with a salary of Rs. 3000/- per month. It was his first job and first salary after engineering. Where his friends were earning 5 to 6 digits salary, he was stuck with Rs. 3000.

He struggled and then grabbed a job of Assistant Lecturer in Polytechnic, the salary was Rs. 12000/-. Where his other friends are started buying flats, cars, and luxury etc.

Then there was a requirement of “Oracle Technology” in Tata Steel. He grabbed that opportunity with both hands and cracked that interview, the salary was Rs. 20,000/-.

Then he switched his job to IBM, the salary was 45,000/-. But it was a contractual job. He was about to become a permanent employee and life took a “U” turn. The project ended, and the company fired all contractual employee.

He was again unemployed, out of job for 2 months and he tried harder. Got a job in Cognizant, salary is Rs. 75,000/-.

A journey from “Unemployed” to the Employment was never been easy for him. Life was never fair for him, but it completely depends on you that are you going to take your failure.

Now, coming to the question. There are a lot of people who can say that life is not fair for them, but it becomes worthless when you start thinking to surrender to the odds of your life.

You can whine, cry, get frustrate and kill yourself. But it will not be going to solve your problem unless you rise and fight back. There is an old saying,

Fortune favors the bold.

If you are not strong enough to face these unfair means and situations in your life, then, of course, there is no point in continuing it.

The moment you surrender, you are already dead.

If you expect the world to be fair with you because you are fair, you are fooling yourself.

That’s like expecting the lion not to eat you because you didn’t eat him.

The only thing that makes life unfair is the delusion that it should be fair.
